Osteopathy is an alternative medicine which aims to diagnose and treat, through the hands, the mobility restrictions of the body’s tissues, which lead to functional disorders that can disrupt the state of health.
The osteopath uses their hands (as tools) to perceive the tensions and imbalances of the body. They practice curative and preventive therapy based on a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology and on the principle: “The body is a whole”.
